At FABA, our mission is to contribute to the digital preservation of Africa's cultural heritage and lifestyle by curating, producing, and publishing captivating visual content across various online media platforms, including Medium. Through the power of compelling visuals, we aim to foster cross-cultural exchanges between Africans in the diaspora and those residing on the continent.
We are seeking contributions that convey profound and intimate narratives, artfully piecing together stories through a series of visuals while providing context through written words. Past submissions have included Liquid Gold – Shea Butter Making in Ghana, Portraits: People of Santiago, An Afternoon with a Berber Family and more. You can draw from your existing portfolio or create fresh content. Feel free to explore our Medium publication, to familiarize yourself with previously published works that exemplify the essence we aim to maintain.
