We accept images and videos that highlight everyday life in Africa. 

please read the guidelines before submitting. do not submit content that you don’t own. if you’d like to be a curator, email us.

We do not accept:

Promotional materials.

Travel blogposts i.e. you can’t be the subject of focus.

Poverty-porn images.

We prioritize color images over black n white

Generic street photography. We’ll consider those with a unique POV.

Wildlife images.

Over-edited + low quality images.

Paintings and artworks.

#FabaVintage photos must be ‘95 or older. We prioritize photos that show subject’s surroundings. Use a photo scanner app to digitize hardcopy pictures.

Staged Photography i.e. look books, studio portraits e.t.c.

                   Selfies.

You can add up to 10 images + videos in a single upload. Square + Portrait images are most preferred. 9X16 images i.e instagram stories dimension, will not make the cut unless specifically requested.
